Mike Dobbins is the CEO of Australia-based company, Vicentia. Like the tree of life, the Vicentia family contains many limbs, all of whom do their part to create a more sustainable, ethical future for us and our children. And Dobbins is leading that charge, continuing to find innovative ways to help the planet.
One of Dobbins’ main missions has been to find a new way for our food supply to last, and to thrive. But in order to find a solution, he had to understand what the root issue really was, and look at the status of agriculture as it is right now. “We actually have zero options. We have to have no chemicals, no poisons. We just need to realize that there’s just no other way.”
It was imperative that Dobbins spread that message in an effort to make a real change. “If you want to look after biodiversity, and you want to improve our soil health, and you want to improve our chronic illness growth, we have to have NO chemicals. And in all fairness there has not been, on a worldwide basis, a solution to the problem.” But as fate would have it, Dobbins soon met bioscientist Carlos Meza. Together, they embarked on a journey to change the game.
